INJURY SIGIL is the solo synth metal project of Douglas Vento. Live acoustic drums, distorted synths, and frantic shrieking make up the 8 minutes of this bizarre and unrelenting debut EP. The performance method, originally implemented in the band tanning machine, uses a bass drum trigger, elements of randomization, and a Hammond xpk-100 to control an analogue bass synth live in real time. The music was originally conceived as a performance project but due to recent world events it lives solely as some weird shit on the internet for the time being.
